Epitone × AUMOVIO: Jointly unveiling a mirrorless 3D AR HUD at IAA MOBILITY 2025

Today, AUMOVIO (aumovio.com) announced a mirrorless 3D AR head-up display (HUD) that we are proud to be launching together through our technology partnership. The product combines Epitone’s mirrorless 3D display technology with AUMOVIO’s system-integration and industrialization expertise, reflecting months of close co-development focused on packaging efficiency, visual depth, and scalability for production.
What we’re introducing—together
Compact form factor: Up to 50% less installation space than conventional, mirror-based HUDs—opening doors for integration even in tight cockpits.
Immersive 3D experience: Eye-tracking delivers a slightly different image to each eye, enabling realistic depth cues across ~0.6–80 m within a ~15° × 8° display area.
Software-defined scalability: The system adapts to vehicle-specific windshield geometry (tilt, curvature), reducing model-specific optics and helping OEMs scale faster.
Roles in the partnership
Epitone provides the mirrorless display technology that underpins the HUD’s image output. AUMOVIO contributes system integration and high-volume manufacturing know-how. Together—with support from our strategic partner SOLUM, SHINWHA INTERTEK & HYOUSUNG — we’re delivering an AR HUD architecture that is smaller, more adaptable, and ready for automotive programs.
See it at IAA MOBILITY 2025
The mirrorless 3D AR HUD will be shown as a near-production demonstrator at IAA MOBILITY 2025 (Munich, Sept 9–12; press day Sept 8) at Hall B1, Booth B01, with an in-vehicle demo area nearby. We invite OEMs and ecosystem partners to come experience the system first-hand.
